The cultural diversity of our community makes our state a unique, vibrant place to live. It’s time to celebrate the outstanding individuals who promote and support an inclusive, harmonious multicultural South Australia. Recognise the achievements of friends, colleagues and peers by nominating now and giving them the acknowledgement they deserve - nomination for a Governor's Multicultural Award.
The awards are administered by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet through Multicultural Affairs.
In this episode, we hear from Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC and Miss Neela Siva, winner of the 2021 youth category award about the 2022 awards. They share the importance of recognising and celebrating outstanding South Australians who promote multiculturalism and increase understanding of the benefits of cultural diversity in our community, plus how South Australians can get involved this year.
Nominations for the 2022 awards close 5pm, Friday 23 September 2022, with winners announced in early 2023.
